  1. I was drawn into the poem by the arrangement if the words on the page, almost like the broken pieces of a shattered looking-glass.

I was transfixed on each entry in the list, eyes lingering. I did not reach the bottom of the page for at least a minute.

    My spine is still tingling.

    1. I love your interpretation ‘broken pieces of shattered looking-glass’! Yes, I was hoping people would really take the time to ponder each ‘face’ and let it bring out a feeling or memory for them. Thanks Adeline!

  2. I loved the way you positioned your words – apart from each other, emphasising each identity. Brilliant piece! I also wanted to drop by to say thank you for following my blog. I am now following yours too, and I’m looking forward to reading your future pieces!

    1. Thank you so much for your comment! I was also trying to suggest the shape of a face, either with the text parts or the blank spaces in between, but in a vague, unsure way. Also looking forward to reading more of your work 🙂
